wow its been a long time
time really flies,its been 6weeks since i officially started uni!and one word just sums it all:MADNESS
they really teach damn fast in uni,lecture notes are generally quite skimpy and the lecturer goes on and on elaborating his points and i usually end up just stoning cos i dont get what he's saying or if i do by the time i get round to trying to phrase it and writing it down onto my notes he's gone to the next slide already:/
im behind in my work!but thats nothing new i was always behind in my work from sec school onwards and a month before exams is a huge damn rush to play catch up.it was my new years resolution not to ever repeat what i did for Alevels but oh well.what can i say.old habits die hard hahaha
other than the massive amounts of readings that im (supposed) to do,med school's been quite an experience.ive never quite met a bunch of people who are so inquisitive,smart,well-read,and yet able to handle ccas outside of schoolwork and seem to have some kind of social life.impressive!
haha the only thing about med school is that we have our lectures with ourselves and ourselves alone.and we all do the same subjects (no bidding thank god!) so its a pretty sheltered uni life,not like what the other facs experience i guess.which has its good and downsides to it.
other than that,hall's been great fun!im glad for this opportunity,im much closer to steph and christina now than ever before so thats great!and ive made new friends and all..my neighbours are fun people haha we should have won a prize for best cheerleading team in eusoff man:P
just in sept alone we sent off doreen jas alicia sarah and bevy:( but they'll be back soon!!hope they're having a blast man:)if you guys do read this drop me a msg!!MISS YOU GUYS
